Our Christmas 2019 concert offerings included the uplifting Gloria and dramatic Kyrie by Vivaldi, as well as Haydn’s sparkling Te Deum and the more angular, yet melodious, diatonic music of Poulenc, as presented in three motets
Under the direction of Dr. Greg Caisley, and supported by outstanding soloists and orchestra, the Sing-along Messiah again presented an opportunity for all members of the community, regardless of ability and experience, to accompany the United Voices Choir in singing many of the beloved Messiah choruses, once again celebrating a work that is arguably the most famous of Handel’s oratorios.
